About the work
A monochrome composition built on the contrast between decorative ornament and a disrupted surface structure. The repeating dragonfly motif forms a dense visual field, creating a sense of rhythm and almost meditative continuity.
A fracture in the lower part of the work interrupts this uniformity, becoming a point of tension and disclosure. The surface seems to delaminate, exposing an inner layer where the ornament persists but loses its stability and integrity.
The work explores the moment of transition from outer order to inner rupture, where the decorative becomes not a mask but a way of holding form in a state of disintegration and repair.
